Thank you! Vienna Teng is AMAZING, one of my favorite singer/songwriters if not my favorite period; I highly recommend hunting down more of her stuff, she's SO GOOD.

That was really good! Perfect song choice for Jinora, and I love how the final stanza brings in the rest of the airbenders. Lovely.

Having watched it:

What a perfect Jinora song! I admit I still haven't seen S2, so I had to do some guessing about a bunch of the middle bit. I love the repeated image of the wind maze (does it have a name???) and Jinora fitting within it. I spent the whole vid waiting for the moment when Jinora was revealed as an Airbending Master (starting from "I'm a child no more," I think), but it was right as the last beat of the vid, the culmination of Jinora's journey.

Thank you!! I don't know that the wind maze does have a name (other than "AN IMPORTANT AIRBENDER TRADITION") but it's such a pretty and helpfully symbolic visual and I over-used it shamelessly. :D

Putting Jinora's Air Master ceremony at the very end was the first thing I knew I was going to do with the vid, and then I spent all of Season Four terrified in case it was going to turn out that Jinora would do something else that would mean I'd have to shift the vid's arc and endpoint as I was working on it. But as it turns out Jinora did not do much in S4 at all, which, on the one hand, :(, but on the other hand, it made my vidding life much easier!

Thank you! I love all the air kids, but JINORA. Season three is my favorite (despite all S4's very great charms) because she is the parallel protagonist and everything is wonderful.

Oh, this is beautifully done and an exceptional use of the song - particularly using the duet section to fold in all the other airbenders. I love the repeated use of the fluidity of the airbending itself to echo the movement of the music, and Jinora's journey from student to master and child to young adult is so well portrayed in such a short time. Great job!

Ha, you can recognize the stuff from S2 if you're looking because it is really visually dramatic (GIANT GLOWY JINORA) but ... less well-animated ... no, but Jinora's arc IN S2 is actually great, it's just everything that happens in Republic City and the South Pole that's often quite painful.

Oh, this is gorgeous! And makes me want to watch the rest of Legend of Korra though I bailed a little over halfway through season one. Jinora is so great!

Also, how does Vienna Teng always have perfect songs for vids and fandom in general?

Seasons three and four are really good! Season two is ... um, it has some moments. But season three is my FAVORITE and has lots and lots of Jinora and airbenders.

Also I don't know how or why Vienna Teng is so magical but she REALLY IS SO VERY MUCH SO.

I haven't watched more than twenty minutes of the first A:TLA episode (because my kid said it was too scary last year, and I'd like to see it with her once she can handle it). That said, I like this very much, and especially how you've used the spinning . . . room divider sections? The rectangular thingers.

I wish I knew what the spinny things were called! Other than 'an ancient airbender tradition.' But they are an EXTREMELY useful visual. >.>
