Last night I dreamed (among other things) that I'd written the essay that I have due on Wednesday for my 19th-century novel class. Since currently I have absolutely no ideas what to write about, I spent the past ten minutes trying to remember how I'd worked it.
. . . turns out I dream-wrote about the interaction between the individual and society in Emma and, uh, Superman. UNHELPFUL, SUBCONSCIOUS.

Date: 2008-04-28 03:54 pm (UTC)Gah, though: I was an English Lit major and I don't want to have to write any sort of essays on 19th-century novels. You could always write about what hidden feminists all the women are in books from that era. That's popular. Unfortunately, then you'd have to prove it.
What's the essay guideline?
