I'm honestly very concerned for Luigi, who manages to convince himself towards the end of his section that the way to get out of his connections with the mob is to just fake incompetence on his next job so they don't ask him for any more favors ... this is a screwball noir tragedy waiting to happen! I'm worried!

...but it doesn't happen within the course of the book so we can pretend it's going to be fine. And it is extremely charming when they make him a group leader on the field trip at the end it turns out shepherding field trips around foreign cities really agrees with him!
