skygiants: Princess Tutu, facing darkness with a green light in the distance (girl power!)
Oh, laziness. Soon I shall have to go work on my thesis, but until this point, this weekend has been full of TV-catchup!

Torchwood: As usual, we have just the right mix of intentional hilarity and unintentional hilarity to keep me happy. ExpandSpoilery thoughts on the first two episodes. )

Sarah Connor Chronicles: I have seen two out of three episodes; I was not completely sold on the first, but by the second I am liking the show better and will probably continue watching. ExpandAgain with the vaguely spoilery thoughts on the first two episodes, although not terribly. )

Eureka: I have been working my way slowly but surely through season ever since I got back from winter break. I have just finished episode seven, and I find it absolutely adorable - though it is fortunate that I know nothing at all about science, because the actual plotlines often just make me want to pat the heads of the writers. But they clearly don't take themselves at all seriously, so it's okay! Jo with her snark and her vest full of guns is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE, but I am also very fond of Henry, and of Carter as the eternal straight man to Eureka's wacky - and SARAH is of course fabulous. Allison has yet to entirely capture my interest as a character, but, uh, this may be in part because I still have not actually seen the pilot, and so I have not quite figured out yet what her job actually is . . . she's in charge of something! Um. ExpandBrief spoilery thoughts. )

And now, off to do work. Or make icons. One or the other. >.>
