skygiants: Princess Tutu, facing darkness with a green light in the distance (crackbible)

Last Monday, I asked some of you guys to name me characters for presents.

As, uh, some of you who have been around here a while may have suspected, this was mostly an excuse to do terrible things with Photoshop. :D?

For [livejournal.com profile] blacksheep91 :

Okay, so I feel kind of bad about this, because all the images of Colin and Mary are of Colin and Mary as ten-year-olds, and . . . some things are too terrible even for me to attempt. So instead you got The Secret Garden as Gothic novel, and if you miss Colin here, he will probably turn up in Flowers in the Attic. :D? (Hey, it's incesty!)

For [livejournal.com profile] agonistes :

Look, you said no Sophia/Dorothy romance, and I OBLIGED. I don't know what else you want from me. (Yes, that is Mussolini. Yes, I have just invented Mussolini category romance.)

For [livejournal.com profile] ojuzu :

You can't tell me Nanami wouldn't wear that dress.

For [livejournal.com profile] futuresoon :

I think this one may be my favorite. I am actually quite proud of the way it turned out! Especially of the ONE HUNDRED PERCENT IC expression on Jacuzzi's face.

For [livejournal.com profile] villainny and [livejournal.com profile] ceitfianna :

I actually felt the need to do two versions of this one.

HOWL LOVES HER NO MATTER THE AGE, OKAY. (But he will probably never forgive me for the romance-novel mullet.)

For [livejournal.com profile] dramaturgca :

Look, I just work with the titles here. Don't ask me who the creepy dude is in the front. Or why Lee's arm and head appear to spring straight from the bedspread without the benefit of a torso. That one is not my fault.

For [livejournal.com profile] ceitfianna and [livejournal.com profile] rymenhild :

As usual, Fakir, given a trope to work with, goes overboard on the drama. Unfortunately, the limited amount of screencaps available with Fakir in his mask means I had to do some funky things with his hood/hair. It could be Fakir under there . . . or it COULD BE FEMIO. Mistaken identity plot?

For [livejournal.com profile] in_the_blue :

I actually think this one turned out quite well also! It is very reasonable aside from Spike's rippling expanse of rubbery chest.

For [livejournal.com profile] varadia :

Look, their hair colors matched up perfectly, okay, I CAN'T HELP IT.

For [livejournal.com profile] cupenny :

Star made the mistake of telling me I could choose who Character B would be. The moral of this story is, you should never, ever give me free reign to decide anything. AND I HOPE YOU HAVE ALL LEARNED IT WELL.

For [livejournal.com profile] parcae :

Dude, it's not even uncanonical, the whole point of Star Trek is that they become like a wacky space family! Right? :D Uh, I don't know why Chris Pine came out looking so much like Edward Cullen though.

For [livejournal.com profile] genarti :

You can't tell me Tamaki wouldn't wear that dress.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND YOU'RE WELCOME.
