Aug. 6th, 2010 02:12 pmIn all my massive amounts of free time, I have decided in my infinite wisdom that what I really need to do is MAKE MORE LJ POSTS. So, meme-thieving from
villainny:
Ask me my Fannish Top Five [Whatevers]. Any top fives. Doesn't matter what, really! And I will answer them all in a new post. Possibly with pictures.
With standard caveats that 'top five' actually means 'whichever five things I remember that I love first on any given day and hastily throw up a post about before I remember about the five million other things I love in that category and become paralyzed by indecision.'

Date: 2010-08-06 06:32 pm (UTC)PS, I keep meaning to tell you to read Jill Lepore and Jane Kamensky, Blindspot. It is comedy of manners meets Octavian Nothing, and the three protagonists are Stewart Jameson, a Scottish painter exiled to colonial America, his apprentice Francis Weston (who is actually a fallen young lady of quality known, when not in drag, as Fanny Easton), and Ignatius Alexander, aka Fortune, Jameson's bff/ex-boyfriend, who is a former slave, an Oxford Ph.D., and a Chessmaster par excellence. You have to read it if only so somebody else understands that the world needs Ignatius / Pro Bono crossover slashfic.
