Last time we had a You're Beautiful episode, Stylist Wang came away with yet another landslide victory in her stunningly accessorized pile of plaid ruffles:

But this week, I really think it's anybody's game! I should also note that it is perfectly legal to vote on ridiculous hair.

1.

Our first category is a group one tonight, because our heartthrob band's performance outfits really need to be appreciated together for the full impact. It seems the hottest trend in Korean boyband fashion is white shirts, white sneakers, and color-coordinated leggings. AW YEAH SEXY.

Some close-ups! Shin-Woo's white shirt looks innocuous enough until you cross-reference the above picture and realize that it has a built-in apron that extends down to his knees. Meanwhile, Jeremy has embraced the ruffle, and . . . I don't actually have any idea what is going on with his hair, except it's hilarious.

BUT NOT, OF COURSE, AS HILARIOUS AS TAE KYEUNG'S. I mean, look, the leggings-sneakers-turtleneck combination already is giving me terrible flashbacks to my own third-grade fashion sense (THE LEGGING YEARS) and the two tiny ponytails are . . . Tae Kyeung, they are not helping. (I would also like to note that even when coordinating to match his bandmates, he clings to the cowlneck.)

And poor Mi-nyeo would have gotten off the best except for some inexplicable reason she has giant shiny black bugs crawling up her chest. (I will note that I am very impressed with Tae Kyeung for trying to comfort her despite his bug phobia!)

2.

Yoo He Yi, on the other hand, is a lady who knows how to dress for a performance. Not that the blinged-out black jacket and matching boots are any less inherently ridiculous, but they're ridiculous in a badass, punk-rock kind of way! It helps that her legs go on for a million years.

Also, she has awesomely accessorized with a matching posse.

A close-up on the giant rhinestones and smug, smug face! THAT, my friends, is how you take on the judgy world of Korean music. I am sorry for Our Heroes, but if it ever comes to a dance-off with He Yi, I am pretty sure she is going to win just on the basis of knowing how to dress for one. Though I guess really the blame in this case needs to go to their stylist . . .

3.

. . . who has apparently decided to leave her job anyway, and try out for a starring role as a secretary in a 1930's musical.

I can't really dissect the parts of this outfit, it's just so amazing as a whole. The dress and the giant collar would not be as great without the hat; the hat would not be as great without the giant side ponytail; the ponytail would not be as great without the GLORIOUS SNEER. IT'S ALL OF A WONDERFUL PIECE.

4.

Meanwhile, once he's offstage, Jeremy is back in DEFENSIVE COLORATION MODE with what looks like . . . well, it's a shiny gray tunic over a different shiny gray shirt, but all I can think is that it's meant to approximate chain mail.

STAY BACK, GO MI NYEO! Although, admittedly, when you look at it all together the effect is a bit more MARTIAN than martial.

He's even got the antenna! (I WILL NEVER GET OVER THE HAIR IN THIS SHOW.)

5.

And finally, another pair of outfits that . . . really need to be appreciated as a unit. Look how Tae Kyeung's leopard-print skinny tie (LEOPARD-PRINT SKINNY TIE) coordinates with Mi-nyeo's leopard-print sweatshirt! IT'S FATE.

For the record, the curly wig and giant glasses are all part of cunning disguises. No one will recognize them in this getup! A.N.Jell would never . . . dress . . . ridiculously . . .

WHAT.

NOTHING. For the record: yes, before they ever put on their disguises, he was already wearing the leopard tie, two button-down shirts, and a clashing jacket.

Plus very classy high heels! This screencap, I should mention, is from a hair salon where Tae Kyeung has just CHOPPED OFF HIS HAIR into the style you see demonstrated here. I guess he was tired of us perennially mocking his ponytails . . .
