furikku! Because it's almost the end of the day and my concentration is fading.

Sooz gave me K, so:
1. Princess Kraehe! (You knew there was going to be a Tutu character in there. Current obsessions!) Kraehe is cast in the role of antagonist, and I can't say too much without spoilers, but she is an EVIL RAVEN BALLERINA who has hidden angst and identity issues and, okay, a sort of unhealthy attitude about relationships, but this is understandable once you learn about her background! I am actually really fond of her and her alter ego. And she dances like a raven, which I love.
2. Konstam from The Homeward Bounders, who is amazing and handsome and brave and super-skilled and wise and wonderful and ten feet tall. Except secretly not ten feet tall, to everyone's great amusement. He's That Guy, the one who should be the hero of the story, except in this book he's a side character which means he really entertains me and I am fond of him instead of being annoyed by him.
3. Kim Ford, from the Fionavar Tapestry, is probably the best and most balanced female character that Guy Gavriel Kay ever wrote. She's a friendly, cheerful med student who turns out to have visions of doom and ends up making a whole lot of decisions harder than anyone should ever have to. She's not my absolute favorite character in the books, but I have tons of respect for her.
4. Sir Kay, from Arthurian legend. I always was fond of Sir Kay; he's the kind of sulky overlooked one whose scrawny and sarcastic foster brother turns out to be KING OF ALL ENGLAND, what the hell, and then ends up being the bitchy and sarcastic castle steward while everyone else goes out and has adventures. In the Great Arthurian Retelling I was planning to do in my high school years (oh high school years) he was going to be the star. Everyone is shocked by this, I'm sure!
5.KozueKURAI, sorry (too many K-names!) is my favorite character from the thoroughly cracked-out manga that is Angel Sanctuary, and, once again, everyone is going to be shocked by this. She's a tiny angry adorable tomboy who runs around in oversized boys' clothing. She has a giant crush on a dead rebellious angel; also she's the princess of the demons (evils?) and makes BFF with a dragon-monster. Also at one point she gives God the finger and informs him that he'd better watch out for a group of stubborn fools, which is what they are! I feel she got short shrift in the manga and there needs to be more of her story.
