skygiantsOkay, so before I start in on this week's poll, truth in advertising I guess: if I'm going to be commenting on other people's fashion choices, I should probably admit that today I am wearing super-glittery tiger-striped stockings to work. AND IT'S AWESOME.
. . . anyway. Last week's winner was, once again, Woo Wan rocking a pattern that would better belong on a ten-year-old's pajamas:
We're now over halfway through these things, by the way! Will Woo Wan tone down his sartorial choices as he gets more entangled in the revolution? Will the costume department grow less ambitious and start to reuse some of their outfits? With how many different weapons will Cha Song Joo accessorize? ONLY TIME WILL TELL.

Woo Wan is making another valiant effort here, with his bright pink shirt and sea-green ascot.
(Se Gi, on the other hand, is lurking in the background ashamed to be seen. Readers, I regret to report to you that Se Gi spent this whole episode in a plain pinstripe shirt and khaki pants! My soul, it wept. SE GI, YOU ARE LETTING THE SIDE DOWN.)
Na Yeo Kyeung is wondering: has he positioned himself awkwardly behind the flowers because they match his pocket handkerchief? For other reasons? Who can say!
Aaand Cha Song Joo is ready to yank Woo Wan offstage now . . .

And demonstrate her own awesome outfits for this episode, made all the more dramatic by the fact that everyone with her is dressed SO BORING. (Seriously, Se Gi, what is this? NO, I CAN'T LET IT GO.)
I'll admit, I have a great fondness for tops with that kind of cowl-neck-over-sheath thing going on, but what really makes this is the hat.
Seriously, who could say no to that hat? It's an excellent outfit in which to kidnap government officials and force girly drinks upon them.

Not, however, as excellent as this outfit is for STABBING PEOPLE.
A killer blade is the perfect accessory to accompany a gauzy dress with some nice jeweled straps! It's the combo of the different metallic shades, I think.
What I love most is that this is stress therapy for Cha Song Joo. She's frustrated! She's had a bad day! She has no idea how to help her friends work through their PTSD! So she puts on a new dress and a coat of lipstick and arranges to assassinate someone the old-fashioned way, just to make herself feel better.

Back in the less murderous realm, Young Ran is winning the prize for best hanbok this episode. I just love the neckline, and - though you can't see it, because my screencapping skills failed me - there are really pretty flowers embroidered on her sleeve to match.

Meanwhile, Sachiko wears a cake on her head.

innerbrat pointed out, are wearing the standard Unconvincing Crossdressing outfit. I guess it's just a rule! Nobody ever notices a guy in a newsboy cap and suspenders! Or if they do I guess they just think he's a girl pulling unconvincing crossdressing, and therefore would never guess he was really a member of the secret police.
