Megling, I am curious...why do you have a problem with the whole concept of someone having his or her people? Owning them, I guess is a way of looking at it, but...

People don't - belong to other people, Mordred. I dunno how to explain it, really, but -

I dunno. It implies that you're not your own person, I guess, just sort of an appendage of the other person. A thing. And I think that's - unhealthy, I guess. Not that I know much about healthy. But you can't just be part of someone else, you have to be you.

And - what's dancing like?

I dunno. I dunno what it'd be like to someone who isn't me, I mean. But for me, it's - pretty much the ultimate high, when it's right. It's flying. It's flying a story.

And dancing other people, when I did that, was like - flying so high I, me, floated away. So all I was was how I was moving, like whoever I was moving like.

It was - weird. Disconnected. Liberated, I guess, sort of, but -

I can't do it now. Can't voluntarily relinquish that much control of my own head. Not after Scorpius. I didn't realize before that how scary it was.
